Beauty and the Beast
This classic version of the traditional fairy tale follows Belle, who is being pressured into marriage by the arrogant Lord Gabriel, aided by his bumbling sidekick Oscar. When Belle's parent is kidnapped by a fearsome beast, Belle offers to take her mother's place and becomes trapped in the castle, where she meets the hilarious servants Ben and Jerry and a silly pantomime dame, Belle Pepper. Over time, she discovers that the beast isn't quite as fearsome as he appears. This script features 8 principal characters, many minor roles for juniors and plenty of action for the ensemble.
