Cinderella

Cinderella is the traditional pantomime story, but not quite as you’ve seen it before. When Prince Charming decides to throw a ball to find his wife and the next Queen of the kingdom, Cinderella’s nasty stepmother and stepsisters are quick to ban Cinderella from attending. What they don’t know is Cinders isn’t interested in finding a prince and just wants to have an evening off from her relentless chores – but then she meets Princess Quinn. Accompanied by some beloved characters including Buttons and the Fairy Godmother, Cinderella embarks on a love story for modern times.

Any age

Persephone

Pfizer Minelli

Prince Charming’s sister – a down-to-earth, dry character who counterbalances Charming’s pompousness. She falls in love with Cinderella.

The Fairy Godmother helps Cinderella go to the ball and while she is a kind character, she also takes no nonsense. She's a maternal type who can be a bit brusque, but means well.

The evil stepmother. Persephone is beautiful, but very cruel. She forbids Cinderella from going to the ball and tries everything she can to direct Charming towards her own daughters.

Ugly Stepsister Pfizer spends most of the show teasing Cinderella with her sister Astrid. She has a lot of comedy one-liners.

Ensemble Roles

We recommend performing this show with a junior ensemble. Ensemble appears as servants working with Cinderella, Prince Charming's guards, and party guests at the ball and wedding. There are a number of ensemble lines, ensemble-only musical numbers and opportunities for solo singing for ensemble members.
